Growing up in Victoria, B.C., I channelled my love for photography through traveling and sports. An avid runner and alumni of the University of Victoria track and cross-country teams, I have been taking race photos for many years. My ability to stay cool under pressure has led me quite naturally to the field of wedding photography. I use the same quiet determination I developed as a long-distance runner to remain focused on the event at hand and to look for different perspectives. I enjoy the challenge of capturing those unique moments and providing lasting memories for such an important occasion. And, more than that, I love connecting to people through this medium.

My approach to wedding photography is a more natural and laid-back photojournalistic style, as you can see in my gallery. This approach helps create an environment where the bride and groom can relax and be themselves - and have fun! I love to capture those candid moments that show raw emotions and weave them with beautiful portraits to tell your wedding day story with style. I give every image the attention it deserves and don't follow the 'shoot-and-burn' philosophy of just giving you your images quickly. This way I make sure you get the high-quality images you deserve.
